Professor Stephen Logan, Senior Vice-Principal, University of Aberdeen, has expressed regret that the local AUT has rejected the University’s offer of a three-year pay deal to its academic and academic-related staff.
The local AUT has chosen not to ballot its members on the Institution’s offer made yesterday, which would have increased salaries by 12% over three years.
Last week, Professor Logan wrote to all students to reassure them that all examinations will proceed as originally planned and that those students who intend to graduate this year will do so.
