Families from across the North-east can have fun next week finding out about the science of Spring at the University of Aberdeen.
The events are part of the Easter events programme at the University’s Natural History Centre.
Children and parents will explore the wildlife of Spring and learn about pond life and the plants that appear at this time of year. They will also get the chance to have some hands-on science fun with plants.
Mandy Tulloch, the Centre's Development Co-ordinator, said: "Spring is a great time of year to get outside and explore. We'll be giving the families some fantastic Spring facts, as well as showing the children a great experiment to do with plants.
"There's also the amazing Zoology Museum and wonderful Cruickshank Botanic Garden to explore."
The events runs from Tuesday, April 5 to Friday, April 8, and are suitable for families with children aged four years upwards. Activities are repeated twice daily: firstly from 10.30am to 12 noon and then again from 2.30pm to 4pm. Admission is free and all children need to be accompanied by an adult. Advance booking is not required.
