Congratulations to Catriona Young, final year medical student, who undertook a well received research project for an innovative test invented by the Co-Director of the Aberdeen Centre for Women's Health Research (ACWHR), Professor Abdel-Fattah. Catriona achieved her M.Sc. with this project which was co-supervised by Dr David Cooper, Dr Alyaa Mostafa and Professor Abdel-Fattah.
Catriona recently won the best student presentation in NOGS, as well as giving an oral presentation at the European Association of Urology (EAU) meeting earlier this year and has now published in an impactful specialty journal, the International Urogynaecology Journal (IUGJ).
Catriona shared, "I’ve had a great experience in women’s health as a student and as President of the medical student O&G society thrilled to win this prize. Thank you to all the staff for the support with the projects as well as the great teaching".
