Daniel Bruce, the Chief Executive of Transparency International UK, gave a lecture in Dr Digdem Soyaltin Colella's Anti-corruption Policy and Good Governance course on Monday 20 February 2023.
After Mr. Bruce’s informative talk addressing problems in global governance of corruption and the role of Transparency International, students and staff from the department asked questions on Transparency International’s famous worldwide index on corruption perception, flow of dirty money in politics, fight against corruption reforms in Ukraine, UK’s Anti-corruption Strategy, and technical aspects of policy evaluation of OECD Anti-bribery Convention.
It was a lively discussion! Mr. Bruce kindly replied all questions and shared excellent insights on global politics of corruption. As the department we appreciate him for taking the time to visit University of Aberdeen.
