The University of Aberdeen has been ranked 6th in the UK for Anthropology and Archaeology, 4th in the UK for International Relations and 8th in the UK for Politics by the Guardian University Guide 2023.
This latest success for the School of Social Science comes as the University of Aberdeen has achieved its highest ever overall ranking, climbing 7 places to 13th in the UK.
Unlike other national league tables, the Guardian University Guide focuses exclusively on teaching and student-facing metrics.
The Guardian University Guide 2023 reflects the School's outstanding results in the National Student Survey (NSS) announced earlier this year, with Aberdeen ranked with the University in the top 5 in the UK for Satisfied with Teaching (4th in UK), and Satisfied with Course (3rd).
