Hamdi Ahmad holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Hamdi was supervised by Professor Rober Millar; he satisfied all the academic requirements for the award of Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics on 18 August 2022. Dr. Ahmad is a linguist with a multidisciplinary background in Second Language Acquisition, Psycholinguistics, and Corpus Linguistics. In addition to realizing the status of an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, Hamdi is a reader for the new Journal of the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain, demonstrating his commitment to the next generation of Linguists.
