David Haro and Matteo Spagnolo recently led a group of PhD students to the Italian Alps, where they learned various physical geography field techniques and fully enjoyed the spectacular glacial settings (and good food!), while also understanding the fragility of these alpine environments currently under climate change threat and anthropogenic pressure.
