Finance System service interruption and changes to login
What is happening?
The Finance system will be unavailable from 8am to 9am on Tuesday 15 February.
This is to allow for a security upgrade and affects all users of the service.
What should you do?
Please save your work and disconnect from the Finance system before 8am on Tuesday 15 February. Please do not login again until 9am on Tuesday 15 February.
What changes will I see in the service?
After the upgrade, the next time you sign into the Finance system, you will be required to sign into your Microsoft Office 365 account using your username@abdn.ac.uk (e.g. s99jb7@abdn.ac.uk) and password. If you are already signed into Microsoft Office365, you will not have to sign in again.
When signing into the Finance system on a personal device, you will also be asked for additional authentication using Multi-Factor Authentication.
