Two lecturers appointed as the new heads for the Centre for Private International Law

Dr Katarina Trimmings and Dr Patricia Živković have been appointed as the new Director and Associate Director of the Centre for Private International Law.

The Centre was established in 2012 to support and promote the development of private international law, and to provide platforms for the discussion of current issues in the subject.

Dr Trimmings’ expertise lies in the area of private international law of family law. Her research focuses mainly on the topics of international parental child abduction and cross-border surrogacy arrangements.

Dr Živković’s is an academic specialised in international commercial arbitration. Her focus in teaching and researching includes international disputes resolution and IT law.

Congratulations to both Dr Trimmings and Dr Živković on their new appointments!
