What is happening?
We are aware of problems overnight affecting connectivity to University of Aberdeen websites and potentially other resources.
Our servers and systems are working, however, we have determined that the common cause appears to be an issue with SKY Broadband.
We cannot fix the issue but we understand that SKY have indicated that they have address resolution issues that they are trying to fix.
What should you do?
If you are not a Sky Broadband user and are affected by Direct Access issues then we recommend rebooting your device twice.
Sky broadband users - You may still be able to access non-University web sites. The issue appears to affect connectivity to academic sites in particular ac.uk addresses.
We would like to apologise for the inconvenience but this problem is not within our control.
