Professor Marjory Harper, who in 2020 won the Royal Historical Society Jinty Nelson Award for Inspirational Teaching and Supervision in History, has written a blogpost for the RHS, in which she reflects on the process of planning an online Master's Programme in Scottish Heritage in 2017. The RHS annual teaching prizes recognise academic historians who have made a significant contribution to excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and supervision. Publication of the blog was timed to coincide with the opening of applications for the 2021 prizes.
