On Tuesday 13th April our Dr Constantinos Yiallourides participated in a public webinar organised by the Lebanese Oil and Gas Initiative (LOGI) and the Lebanese Transparency Association (TLA) to discuss progress and next steps concerning the delimitation of Lebanon’s maritime boundaries in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea and principles of good governance of oil & gas in the context of maritime boundary disputes.
Dr Yiallourides’ contribution focused on Lebanon’s approach to resolve its maritime boundary issues under international law, the management of the disputed maritime areas pending boundary delimitation, and how courts, tribunals, and other States in their practice, have dealt with similar issues in the past.
