The care in funerals project website is now live at https://www.abdn.ac.uk/sdhp/philosophy/care-in-funerals-2015.php. The project aims to learn from experiences of disruption and innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic to support refreshed thinking about why funerals matter and to identify and examine ethical issues in funeral provision. The research team are looking to recruit a diverse range of bereaved family members, celebrants and funeral directors, of all faiths and none, from around the UK. The project has been funded by ESRC at part of UKRI's rapid response to COVID-19.
