Call for exhibits and activities to be showcased at Techniquest Science Centre, Cardiff in July 2020. Event open to all - from children to policymakers.
The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) is offering an opportunity for researchers to run public engagement activities as part of their annual environmental science showcase 2020.
This event will be open to all members of the public, families and young people, to policymakers and people that do not normally interact with science during the course of their day. All welcome!
Throughout the exhibition there will be:
- Science buskers!
- Hands-on exhibits (about 20)
- Activities
- Talks
- Debating opportunities
During the exhibition there will also be debates and discussions that aim to engage visitors by highlighting various types of research that takes place in the natural world. With the aim of connecting a wide spectrum of interested people to environmental science, and the many different aspects of research.
