Expert's informal talk that explores the importance of ballads, songs and Moray music traditions, followed by music, song and audience participation is now fully booked.
Dr Thomas McKean, Director of the Elphinstone Institute and expert on ballads and songs, will be giving an informal talk that will explore the Songs and Music Traditions of Moray and why they are so important.
This event will be held at Baxters Highland Village on Saturday 28 September 2019 from 14:30hrs until 16:30hrs.
There’ll be music, song, and audience participation, too!
Following the talk there will be an opportunity to share your favourite music and song traditions over a fly cup and a fancy piece.
