Beware of fake email and password phishing.
What is happening?
At this time of year, hackers and fraudsters will try to target new and returning students with phishing email.
Please take great care when opening emails particularly if you do not recognise the sender. Watch out for email which says ‘Message shortened, click here for details’.
Be especially careful of any email which asks you to click on a link and then asks for your login details.
If you are in any doubt whether an email is genuine or not, then contact your school or the IT Service Desk before clicking on any links.
