Adobe Acrobat DC - new licensing model coming soon

Adobe Acrobat DC - new licensing model coming soon

We are transitioning to a new licensing model on University PCs

What’s happening?

Adobe is transitioning to a new, named user licensing model. When our current license for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC expires on 24 July this year, we will be moving to the new model.

Under this model, you will have an Adobe ID associated with your University of Aberdeen email. After moving to the new model, when you launch Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, you will be prompted to sign in using your University credentials.

What do I need to do?

You don’t need to do anything at the moment. We will be in touch again soon with further guidance.

Not sure if you have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on your device?

Type ‘acrobat’ into Windows search on your University PC. Adobe Acrobat DC will appear in the search results if installed on your device.

Note: Users of ‘Adobe Acrobat Reader DC’ will not be affected.
