Prospective students were given a tour of the University along with interactive sessions ranging from Anthropology to Politics.
The School of Social Science was delighted to welcome prospective students from three north of Scotland secondary schools to give a taste of what it is like to study at the University of Aberdeen.
Pupils from Hazelhead Academy, Robert Gordon's College and Dornoch Academy - the latter having gotten the bus at 5am to attend - were welcomed by the Head of School, Dr Mervyn Bain.
Subsequently, the morning was spent in interactive sessions with Dr Martin Mills (Anthropology), Dr John Bone (Sociology) and Dr Malcolm Harvey (Politics and International Relations), before a tour of the campus was undertaken (unfortunately, in the rain).
Hopefully some of these students will return to the University of Aberdeen over the coming years.
