Anthropologists across Scotland are coming together to showcase their subject for S4-S6 school pupils. The event will take place at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh on Friday 23 June from 10am-3pm.
Staff from the Universities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews will lead workshops tailored for school pupils to give them a taste of anthropology, including: the refugee experience; Anthropology in the Museum; the culture game, and others. Current students will also be on hand to talk about studying the subject in Scotland.
