Submissions are invited for an issue of Education in the North which could detail new empirical research findings or focus on on-going research projects/ work-based projects and even book reviews (see journal website for author guidelines).

1 Expression of interest to editors + extended abstract (1000 words) – 24th February, 2017
2 Full submission – 28th April, 2017
Submissions are invited for this issue of Education in the North, on this theme. This could be research into the education of children and young people, children’s services or other issues related to children and young people. By North they mean in the Northern hemisphere and they welcome submissions of various kinds, and are particularly interested in submissions that address or cut across topics and issues including:
- Research about children and young people in the North
- Research with children and young people in the North
- Research by children and young people in the North
Submissions that address other areas relevant to the general theme will also be considered, and the editors welcome enquiries concerning the relevance and eligibility of potential submissions.
A range of submissions can be made as follows:
- Articles detailing new empirical research findings
- Features focused on on-going research projects/ work-based projects
- Book reviews (see journal website for author guidelines)
