We offer a range of single-honours, joint-honours and major-minor degrees in mathematics. Our challenging syllabus emphasises reasoning, rigour and the argumentative side of mathematics. Our ambition is to give you a sound preparation for a career in which mathematics plays a role, whether it be in research or through applications.

Jointly delivered by the University of Aberdeen Business School and School of Natural & Computing Sciences, this programme brings together expertise in mathematics, computer science, finance, and economics to deliver a fully integrated learning experience in Financial Technology.

The Institute of Mathematics staff is internationally recognized for their research excellence, providing an ideal setting for students to pursue a Ph.D. studying within one of our research strengths (see the research page for more details).
