Outreach & Schools

Our Computing Science staff at the University of Aberdeen is always keen to interact with Schools in the region, both in Aberdeen city and Aberdeenshire.

We have several different types of activities that we can provide, but we are not necessarily limited to these:

• Your School visits the University of Aberdeen for Computing Science activities: workshops (covering topics like jobs in Computing Science), hackathons (solve a problem in groups), etc.;
• University of Aberdeen visits your School: same activities as above;
• A day in the life: a select number of pupils will shadow some of our staff members for a day and attend their lectures (at most 2 pupils per staff).
