Postgraduate student's research to be published

Orkney music research paper by Gemma McGregor to be published

Following the presentation of her research at the "Arts and Creativity" conference in Orkney in 2014, Aberdeen University postgraduate music student, Gemma McGregor has had a paper selected for publication by the Centre for Nordic Studies, a part of the University of the Highlands and Islands. 

The paper is entitled, “Music for Saint Magnus - Evidence for the impact of cultural inheritance on musical composition with specific reference to the influence of Saint Magnus on music in Orkney”.
