A newly released recording from leading American choir Westminster Williamson Voices will include pieces by one current four former Department of Music students.
The new recording, entitled 'A Scattered Light in Winter' features pieces by former students John Frederick Hudson (PhD, 2016), Thomas LaVoy (PhD, 2017), Sarah Rimkus (PhD, 2018) and Peter Relph (BMus, 2015) as well as a piece, 'Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silent' by current MMus student Sam Scheibe. The recording continues the strong links between Williamson and Aberdeen and cements the Department's place as one of the leading institutions for the study and creation of new choral music.
