PgR student Kim Walker has been selected as a finalist for a London-based art prize.
Kim Walker is one of 20 finalists who have been selected for the Mother Art Prize 2020 group exhibition. Walker’s artwork Not Everything That Can Be Thought Can Be Said will be presented as part of an exciting group show at Elephant West art space in London later on this year.
The 3rd edition of the Mother Art Prize 2020 is the only international open call for self-identifying women and non-binary visual artists with caring responsibilities. Its aim is to promote and support artists who are mothers/parents as well as drive the attention of the wider public to a broad-spectrum of themes that would otherwise be overlooked and devalued.
