Vox Regis, the University of Aberdeen's recording label, has another CD of the month. This time it is Exiled which has been announced CD of the month of April by Music Web International.
The CD features the music of Peter Philips and Richard dering who were both English born composers who traveled to Italy to broaden their horizons and stayed on the continent. The music is performed by the Rose Consort of Viols, the Choir of King's College, Aberdeen and Professor David J. Smith (Harpsichord). This CD is being seen as a substantial addition to the discography of this music and one which should satisfy the lovers of English renaissance music.
