Successful day of music making with a recent visit to University Music by pupils from Robert Gordon's College
A group of third year pupils along with their music teachers from Robert Gordon’s College in Aberdeen joined in a successful morning of music making recently in the University music department. They have been studying world music as part of their school curriculum and to enhance their experience they took part in workshops in African drumming, steel pans and samba percussion which were led by Dr Lisa Nicol and Pauline Black. Rhythm, listening to each other and collaborative working was very much in evidence with fantastic performing from everyone.
