Featuring Niall Anderson (Bass Baritone) & Benjamin Mead (Piano)
Recognised for his "bright and richly expressive bass voice" Niall Anderson is one of the most highly sought after young basses of his generation, and a graduate of University of Aberdeen. With award-winning British-Polish-German collaborative pianist Benjamin Mead, the pair will perform Schubert's collection of lieder Schwanengesang.

Compiled and published just after his death, this collection of songs ranges from "Ständchen" to "Der Doppelgänger", displaying Schubert's complex understanding of art song and his ability to transfer the emotion of the written word to music.
