JAM marks two anniversaries: Benjamin Britten’s 100th (since birth) and Kenneth Leighton’s 20th (since death) with performances of the former’s Rejoice in the Lamb and the latter’s Drop, Drop Slow Tears and Paean. Also included are three JAM commissions: Rory Boyle’s Tallis’s Light (2011) Julian Philips’ Body of Water (2012) and Phillip Cooke’s The Hazel Wood, commissioned for this tour.
