Mrs G had ongoing bleeding and required several uterotonic medications in recovery (syntocinon, tranexamic acid, haemabate x 1), she was transerred back to theatre and a decision was made to insert a Bakri ballon
Bleeding settled after a period obervation and she was transferred from theatre for high dependency care as her blood loss was 2.5 litres
She received 2 units of cross-matched blood in theatre
