Medical Prophylaxis
- Proguanil and/or chloroquine
- Mefloquine
- Doxycycline
- Malarone®
- Atovaquone / proguanil
Malarone® and doxycycline should be started 1-2 days before travel to malarial area.
All others should be started 1 week before.
Malarone® should be continued for 1 week following return from endemic area.
All others should be continued for 4 weeks following return.
