Case 2 - History and Initial Investigations
- A 29 year old man was admitted to hospital with alcohol related acute pancreatitis.
- He had also been a heavy smoker.
- His illness was complicated by left lower lobe pneumonia which resulted in a lung abscess and left sided empyema.
Chest PA, lateral view radiographs and CT scans were taken.
