Chest X-ray ward round

Investigations:

• High resolution CT
• Blood tests: ANA antibodies, rheumatoid factor, immunoglobulins, avian precipitins, CK
• Pulmonary function testing with gas transfer

Treatment:

• Anti-fibrotic therapy if IPF or fibrotic NSIP
• Systemic steroids can be considered in acute exacerbations in NSIP
• Stop offending drug/ trigger
• Consider Lung transplant in younger patient
