Which of the following are symptoms of MI?
All of these are potential symptoms of a patient having a myocardial infarction (MI). It is important to remember however that not all patients present with these typical symptoms. Type 1 diabetics often have 'silent MIs' and not have any symptoms of chest pain despite having a heart attack. Elderly women also often present differently, complaining more of reflux-type symptoms rather than typical cardiac chest pain.
