Uses of Arterial Blood Gas test:
There are a variety of reasons why ABGs are carried out
The information obtained from the test allows us to interpret conditions that are affecting the:

- Metabolic processes
They are frequently carried out in:
- Emergency medicine, when immediate medical attention is required
- Anaesthesiology, for surgery or intensive care medicine
