Histology Images:
- Here are 4 histological images
- All are examples of the kidney and show a renal corpuscle and its surrounding tubes
- Each preparation has been stained with a different histological stain, or combination of stains
- Although these staining methods make the images look pretty they provide no specific help in interpreting the structure of the tissue in each image
- However, all the stains introduce (colour) contrast into the tissue section and allow the structure of the tissue to be studied
