Tongue
Being a very mobile structure the tongue is often difficult to examine. To control the tongue, retract it by holding the tip with a dry gauze. Adjust the position to examine all the surfaces of the tongue.
INSPECT:
- Dorsal surface
- Ventral surface
- Lateral borders (both sides)
