- Eczema herpeticum is a severe infection of the skin by herpes simplex virus 1 or 2 which is most commonly seen in children with atopic eczema. The rash is characterised by monomorphic punched-out erosions usually 1–3mm in diameter.
Perioral dermatitis is a common skin issue characterised by groups of tender/ itchy small red papules.
