Learning Objectives

Learning objectives should be written as full sentences.

They should contain a verb (ideally one that maps to a level in Bloom's Taxonomy or equivalent heirarchy).

They should ideally span more than one level of Bloom's Taxonomy (appropriate to the subject and level being taught).

They should be measurable. What new skill will your learner have? How will their practice change as a result of your module?

  • construct effective questions that avoid them.
