PhD opportunities
To help support students in their studies, the School of Languauge, Literature, Music and Visual Culture advertises several scholarship opportunities that are specific to the school. All currently open scholarships can be found below.

The New Kings Studentship - All Disciplines within LLMVC
Up to two open-topic studentships are available for PhD research within the school. The studentships comprise a fee waiver and are open to students of all nationalities commencing their PhD project in the academic year 2025-26. The deadline for scholarship applications is 5pm on Tuesday 15th April 2025. Applicants will be notified of the results by Tuesday 1st July 2024.
Please note that you must have applied and been accepted to your PhD programme before 15th April 2025.
