Come along to this year's online reading with author Saša Stanišić. The reading will take place on 25 April 2023 at 5pm (UK time) via Teams, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Saša Stanišić was born in Višegrad (Yugoslavia) in 1978 and has lived in Germany since 1992. His stories and novels have been translated into over 30 languages and have won many awards, including the Leipzig Book Fair Prize for Vor dem Fest (Before the Feast) and most recently the 2019 German Book Prize for Herkunft (Where You Come From). Herkunft is a book about the first coincidence of our biography: being born somewhere. And what happens next.
Free event, open to all. The event is being funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
