Annual family Night at the Museums event with the theme of Animal Armoury

A fun-filled family evening at the University of Aberdeen Zoology museum, where it will come to life, literally as people will have an opportunity to hold live animals and see how they defend themselves from predators with camouflage, tails and scales. There will also be an opportunity to hold ancient weapons from the museum's collections.

Join us on Saturday 14th May, 5pm-9pm, for our annual family Night at the Museums event!

With the theme of Animal Armoury, visitors will have the chance to explore the Zoology Museum, King's Museum and a Jungle made in 90 High Street!

Various activities will be on offer for all ages throughout the night including Animal Handling with Cool Creatures, Crafts including making turtles, shields and origami, and object handling of some ancient weapons in the museum's collections and face painting!

Entry to the event is free but there is a charge of £1 for Animal Handling and Face Painting which must be booked on the night.
