A student- led exhibition exploring the concept of time in the Victorian era

A student-curated exhibition at King’s Museum on the theme of Victorian time. Launched this year the University of Aberdeen MLitt Museum Studies course is culminating in a student curated exhibition at King’s Museum. This will be an unmissable opportunity for the public to see rare objects from the University’s diverse collections, including a beautiful bracelet presented by Queen Victoria herself to a Banchory resident during the opening of the Aberdeen Music Hall in 1859. The exhibition will provide an insight into how time was valued in the Victorian era, exploring how the Victorians perceived the past, present and future through themes such as antiquities, communication and industry.
