Part of the King's Museum Tuesday Evening Lecture Series

Pictish sculpture is not simply about grave slabs. The collection at St Vigeans indicates  a wide range of functions for the stones. Within the county of Angus, the Pictish cross slabs are concentrated in a few significant locations: this lecture attempts to explain why the sites are important in historical and social terms.

All are welcome to this series of public lectures organised by King's Museum. This event is free.
