Join Professor Patience Schell in the SDRL for some craftivism! Coinciding with the exhibition of student made ‘arpilleras’, Sewing Resistance, we are holding an arpillera workshop. Learn how to make the distinctive colourful dolls for these Chilean protest patchworks. No sewing skills needed and all ages welcome! The first in a series of craft workshops.
This event is running in partnership with the Festival of Social Science and is part of a programme of events supporting the 'Sewing Resistance' exhibition in The Gallery.
