Aberdeen Medico-Chirurigal Society, Room 402, The Suttie Centre, Foresterhill, Thursday 26th September at 7pm

Professor Maggie Cruickshank graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1985 and retired last year after 26 years as a clinical academic at the UNiversity of Aberdeen working in gynaecology and researching the prevention of lower genital tract cancers.

Professor Cruickshank said 'HPV vaccination has been the greatest innovation in this field during my medical career but cervical cancer remains a leading cause of death in women worldwide'.

Non members welcome. CPD Self certification forms available. Finger buffet and tea/ coffee available from 6:30pm
