Biography
Specialist Skills:
I am a specialist in planning law: terrestrial and marine and an expert in legal and policy research and interpretation. I am skilled at translating legal and policy instruments into science and social science contexts for effective research outputs. I have extensive experience of delivering interdisciplinary research as part of a team across a range of institutions and jurisdictions.
Academic positions of responsibility:
I am Dean for Portfolio Development and Programme Promotion
I am also a member of the Law Society of Scotland Marine Law Committee, the editorial board of Environmental Law Review, Scottish Planning and Environmental Law and the Journal of Water Law.
