Le Xuan Tung
Mr. Le Xuan Tung has joined the School of Law, University of Aberdeen as PhD candidate since October, 2022. He held a Bachelor of Law degree from the Hanoi Law University, Vietnam and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Huddersfield, UK (with Distinction). He is currently employed as a Legal Researcher at the Department of International Law of the Institute of Legal Studies, Ministry of Justice of Vietnam. In this role, Tung specialises on matters of Private International Law, and has worked on a number of reports and recommendations related to the Hague Children’s Conventions, specifically from the Vietnamese perspective. Tung has recently been selected to represent Vietnam at the 2022 Council on General Affairs and Policy of the Hague Conference on Private International Law meeting, as part of a five-member delegation of Ministry of Justice. His further research interests include: International commercial law, EU Law, arbitration, comparative law.
