The new intake of Diploma students for 2014-15 kicked off the course on Monday 15 September by participating in a workshop on Innovation and Enterprise, facilitated by the Scottish Institute for Enterprise.
Teams of students were tasked with solving a challenge and developing an innovative tool to address that challenge. Each group presented their ideas in a two minute "Dragon's Den" style pitch to judges including the Head of College of Arts and Social Sciences and the Head of School of Law.
This was followed by a breakfast reception on Tuesday 16 September, hosted in the Sir Duncan Rice Library, where the Head of School of Law, Ms Anne-Michelle Slater, formally welcomed the students to the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
