The Diploma in Professional Legal Practice finished on 1th April and to mark the occasion a reception was held in the Society of Advocates' Library. The Law School has an excellent relationship with the Society of Advocates in Aberdeen and the reception in their library was a particularly special way of marking the transition from student to trainee solicitor.
Head of School Anne- Michelle Slater congratulated the students on successfully completing the course and Gregor Kelly, President of the Society of Advocates, offered some words of advice to the students in their future legal careers and extended a warm welcome to them as they start their legal traineeship and the final stage in qualifying to practice law in Scotland.
